Multilingual order form

Can I also sell internationally with affilicon?

With AffiliCon you can easily sell your products to customers from all over the world.

We can generate order forms and invoices in the following languages:

  • German
  • English
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Italian

Of course, the sales notifications and thank you page are also delivered in the respective language.

Choose language

As soon as you have activated multilingualism, you can enter the product descriptions in German, English, Spanish, French or Italian via the flag symbols.

Internationale Bestellformulare erstellen mit affilicon

Enter the descriptions in the various national languages. Only the languages you enter in these fields will be activated. For example, if you only need a German, English and Spanish order form, you only enter the text in these three languages. Italian and French will then not be offered.

The browser recognises the language of your customer and automatically opens the order form in the corresponding language. If necessary, your customer can also change the language via the drop-down menu at the top right of the order form:

Manually determine the language of the ordering process

If necessary, you can also preselect the language of the order form. You can simply append certain parameters to your sales link. The order form will then be opened in the preselected language by default. Of course, the end customer can also change the language manually via the flag symbol (top right).

Parameters for preselecting the language

German: &lang=en
English: &lang=en
French: &lang=fr
Italian: &lang=it
Spanish: &lang=es

(De)activate countries for sale

Independent of the languages of the order form, you can include or exclude certain countries in the sale.

For physical products:

To exclude individual countries from shipping, simply right-click on the corresponding flag symbol under "Shipping costs".

In addition, individual shipping costs can be maintained for individual countries, which overwrite the information for the zone.

The options for the shipping costs can be found under the respective product under "Edit" and then in the tab "Shipping costs".

For digital products:

Since the delivery address is not mandatory for digital products, they can generally be purchased worldwide.

Does AffiliCon also support the complicated EU VAT logic for digital products (MOSS)?

In January 2015, an amendment to the VAT Act was introduced in Germany which states that all electronic products must be taxed with the VAT of the EU country in which the end consumer is based.

With 28 EU member states and in some cases up to five different VAT rates per country, this change means a considerable amount of work for a manufacturer who wants to sell its electronic products or services throughout the EU and thus also places some requirements on an international payment system.

This catalogue of requirements was fully implemented by us for all conceivable product categories, implemented in our platform and launched on time on 1 January 2015. This means that no matter where you sell your product, we always charge the customer the correct VAT.

Whether it is a book that is physically delivered to Austria and is therefore taxed with 10% VAT or an e-book purchased in France, which is only taxable there with the reduced tax rate of 5.5%, or a webinar on which e.g. participants from Luxembourg are subject to 17% VAT.

As we act as your reseller and you only sell your products to us, you do not have to do anything other than submit our statements to your tax advisor. The central MOSS reports at the Bundeszentralamt für Steuern (Federal Central Tax Office) have to be made exclusively by us. Because we, the AffiliCon GmbH, are the official, legal and fiscal seller of the product (so-called "merchant of record").
