Privacy policy (template)

AffiliCon GmbH attaches great importance to the security and DSGVO compliance of your online sales. Thus, our platform has been updated for 25 May 2018 in view of the new requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation.

You can find a prefabricated building block for your privacy policy regarding AffiliCon below. You can incorporate this template into your privacy agreement to inform visitors to your website about the collection and processing of personal data by AffiliCon GmbH.

AffiliCon

We have outsourced all or part of our sales and payment processing to AffiliCon GmbH, Hohenzollernring 5, 50672 Cologne, Germany. When a payment is made via AffiliCon, personal data such as first name, surname, e-mail address, billing address or payment data is collected for the purpose of processing the order. The processing of your data by AffiliCon is based on Art. 6 para. 1 a) DSGVO (consent) and Art. 6 para. 1 b) DSGVO (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the possibility to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the validity of past data processing operations.

The data is initially stored until the limitation period due to the conclusion of a contract (e.g. through the purchase of a product). In accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 c) DSGVO, the personal data to be stored due to obligations under commercial and tax law (such as invoice address and purchase amount) will also be stored beyond this in accordance with the respective periods.

We have also outsourced our affiliate programme (affiliate marketing) to AffiliCon, by means of which advertising fees can be earned through the placement of advertisements and links to corresponding landing pages. AffiliCon uses cookies in this context in order to be able to track the placement of orders by the affiliate. Among other things, this enables AffiliCon to recognise that an affiliate link on a particular website has been clicked and that a purchase has subsequently been made. The storage of "AffiliCon cookies" is based on Art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in this, as only this cookie enables the advertising of a product via an affiliate. Further information on the handling of personal data by AffiliCon GmbH can be found in the data protection agreement for AffiliCon buyers.
